Situated in the central part of Nagpur, the Vayu House is a visual delight. This 10,000sqft bungalow is a beautiful home for a family of four, immersed in grandeur and luxury. The interiors have been designed by NZ Associates and the creative direction of founders Yash Jhawar and Parth Jhawar incorporates the clients' preferences to the tee. The architecture was conceived by architect Snehal Suthar of tHE gRID Architects while the landscaping has been done by landscape architect TV Santosh of 3 Fold Design.

Due to its Southwest positioning, the bungalow invites plenty of natural light indoors, bringing in warmth and comfort by visually opening up the space. The clients' liking for greenery has translated into the creation of multiple courtyards that act as a seamless bridge between the indoor and the outdoor spaces.

Right from the entrance foyer, there is an expansive view of the outdoor garden through the glass windows. The staircase with unique dandelion pendant lamps made of banana paper adds an element of interest as one reaches upstairs. The dining space on the first floor is connected to the formal living room. The use of wooden screens on the window limits the amount of light that enters and ensures privacy. The veneer-induced interiors enable a sense of continuity and togetherness in the house layout, the intention being to create a natural flow where every part of the house pieces together like a jigsaw.

Elegance and Harmony: A Modern House Interior with a Natural Touch | @vsddesign_studio

Editorial Note : "The interiors of this contemporary home have earthy neutral tones, along with pops of green indoor plants. Comfort is of prime importance in every corner, as evident from the choice of fabric. The yellow colour of the couch is toned down to avoid bright contrasts, and sharp edges are a rare sight, which further aids in setting the serene atmosphere."
