The brief was a home that feels rich but calm: warm walnut tones, soft cream surfaces and light that does the decorating. Every room has its own signature piece, from a backlit Ganesha pooja unit to hand-painted mural walls in the bedrooms.

The first thing you see is a sculpted partition between the entrance and the dining area. Twelve soft-cornered windows hold ribbed (fluted) glass, so light passes through while the view stays private. Below it, a curved console in cream high-gloss with a dark walnut top and plinth gives shoe and utility storage without looking like storage.
Overhead, dark wooden slat panels run across the ceiling, cut with linear LED lines. They lead the eye from the entrance into the home and divide the open hall into foyer, dining and living zones without a single wall.

Along the passage, a recessed pooja niche glows with a backlit deity panel framed in walnut, with a floating cream unit below for diyas and essentials. Next to it, a cream wall with raised rounded-rectangle mouldings adds texture without adding colour, a quieter way to dress a long wall than wallpaper.

The living room is built around a walnut-framed entertainment wall. A textured stone-look panel is backlit with warm LED, flanked by lit display niches for art pieces, above floating cream drawers that keep the floor visible and the room feeling larger.
A dark wood band with a hidden light line runs along the opposite wall, and sheer and blackout curtains sit behind a lit pelmet. In the evening, the room is lit almost entirely by hidden light, with no harsh ceiling glare.

The L-shaped kitchen layers three finishes: high-gloss cream lofts with gold handles at the top, warm wood-finish cabinets and black-framed glass shutters with internal profile lights in the middle, and soft taupe base units with black profile handles below. A white quartz-look countertop and an elongated-hexagon textured backsplash, lit from under the cabinets, tie it together.
A tall unit holds an appliance niche and a wicker pull-out basket for vegetables, so the counter stays clear for cooking.

In the master bedroom, the wardrobes, lofts and side tables are designed as one continuous unit that frames the bed. Inside the frame, a folk-art mural of trees, deer and a golden sun sits above a channel-tufted upholstered headboard, washed by a concealed light strip.
The side tables have built-in charging points, a window seat runs under the second window, and a full-height sliding wardrobe in a textured fabric-finish laminate keeps the room uncluttered.
The second bedroom combines rest and prayer. A pooja unit with white backlit doors carries mirror-gold Ganesha and lotus cut-outs and bell motifs, with a row of framed deity tiles above. Beside it, a grey marble-pattern wardrobe and a lit glass display niche lead to a slim study or vanity desk.
The headboard wall is a hand-painted lake scene in a traditional Indian style, set above walnut panelling with a cove light line.
The third bedroom uses a two-tone wardrobe in dusty rose and cream matte with gold knobs, a lit glass display column and drawers. A full-length mirror and a wall-mounted TV and study panel with a matching rose band complete a room that suits a teenager, guest or parents equally well.

Premium is rarely about the most expensive material. In this home, it comes from five decisions any 3BHK owner can borrow.
One warm palette everywhere. Walnut, cream and gold repeat in every room, so the flat reads as one home, not eight separate designs.
Light that is hidden, not hung. Profile lines, cove strips and backlit panels replace bright ceiling lights. The result is soft, even and flattering.
One hero piece per room. The partition, the TV wall, the pooja doors and each mural are the stars. Everything around them stays quiet.
Storage that disappears. Full-height wardrobes, lofts, floating units and built-in side tables mean very little loose furniture, and clear floors look larger and more expensive.
Art that belongs to the place. Indian folk-art murals and the Ganesha cut-outs give the home a sense of identity that imported decor cannot.
